Water softening for commercial customers

Industrial water softeners are a central tool in water treatment, particularly in hospitality, in municipalities and in specialised sectors such as food processing. Construction and materials

Industrial systems consist of a pressure cylinder with ion exchange resins developed specifically for continuous operation, a high-quality control head for process regulation and a salt tank for regeneration. All components are made from corrosion-resistant materials and meet the relevant safety standards.

Types and operating modes

Depending on water quality and demand, single or multi-column systems are used, running in parallel or alternating operation. This keeps the supply of soft water continuous, even during regeneration phases.

Sizing based on a water analysis

Every design starts from a comprehensive analysis of the water’s physical and chemical parameters. In some cases further treatment stages beyond softening make sense, for example reducing iron and manganese.
