We offer the full range of servicing for water treatment systems: commissioning, inspections, replacement of worn components, fault diagnosis and adjustment of operating settings.
Regular maintenance lowers the failure rate of your system, reduces running costs and extends the life of wearing parts - and makes sure your water keeps to the hardness level you want.
Typical consequences of skipping maintenance
- Insufficient softening: limescale on heating elements and taps returns
- Leaks at the softener’s control head
- No brine draw during regeneration
- No water refill into the salt tank
- A salty taste to the water downstream of the softener
- Noticeably higher water or salt consumption during regeneration
What our servicing covers
- Cleaning, lubricating or replacing worn parts on the control head (injector, throttles, piston guide, seals) and on the salt tank (float valve, air check valve)
- Checking all regeneration stages and adapting the head settings to the raw water hardness and your target value
- Verifying softening efficiency through operating tests
- Regenerating the ion exchange bed with chemical reagents (removes deposited iron and manganese and extends the life of the resin)
- Disinfecting the softener with resin-friendly agents
- Supplying regeneration salt
Resin replacement
If the softener stops removing hardness despite regenerating correctly, or if the volume of softened water drops noticeably, the resin has lost its ion exchange capacity. We then replace the ion exchange resin completely, including proper disposal of the old bed.
